Job interviews can be stressful at times. But being well prepared
in advance before a job interview can alleviate some of those stresses. Here
are a few job interview tips you should keep in mind.

One of the worst things to happen is to be late for an interview.
So give yourself sufficient time to reach the place. I would recommend to reach
the job interview venue at least 15 minutes early.

Another important job interview tips is to be yourself. Speak
clearly with confidence when the interviewer is asking you a question. Do not
shy away from making eye contact with the interviewer when he/she is asking a
questions and when you are answering.

a job interview can be a pretty daunting task. You never quite know what the
job interviewer is going to ask you but you can better prepare yourself to
answer job interview questions by first preparing the common questions
interviewers usually will ask such as

Tell me
more about yourself

Why did
you quit your last job

What are
your weakness and strengths

And how
can you value add to our company etc.

These are all very basic
job interview questions that get asked 90% of the time and you can prepare

The way you answer the
job interview questions can also determine whether you clinch the job or not.
Be assertive and confident with your answers, no ramblings. It’s ok to think

How To Answer Job Interview Questions

Job interviews are always very taxing, no matter how may times you’ve been through them. Preparation is the key to reducing tension during the interview. Study the important and common questions and their answers several days before the interview.


Make time to research the company profile, its management and establishment. This will increase your knowledge and confidence. Review your resume and be able to discuss thoroughly the previous work experience.


There are some important guidelines for how to answer job interview questions; answering these correctly will definitely lead to a successful interview. The following are typical questions with how they should be answered:


* Tell me something about yourself?


In an interview, this is a typical opening question. Be careful and specific when answering. Keep the answer as short as possible. Make sure to cover your early years, education, work history and recent career experience.


* Tell me about our organization?


This very important question will demonstrate your awareness. You should be ready to discuss various aspects of the company such as products, mangement style, goals, image, reputation, services, etc. Don’t act as a know it all as it will reflect badly on you to the interviewer. Show that you are a keen learner and welcome the opportunity to learn more.


* Why do you want to work with our company?


Such questions play a prominent part in the hiring process. Your research on the company will determine your actual answer to these questions. Definitely, do the research. You may face the following other types of questions:


* What strengths do you have that others do not?


Discuss your past achievements and the successful completion of taskes on time. Talk about your resume, such as the skills and interests you mentioned.


* How come you are interested in this position?


Here you will have to give two or three attractive aspects of the position mentioned, along with one or two minor negative points.


* Why should we hire you?


Relate the answer to your ability, experience and energy, your keen learning skill etc.


* What are your expectations from this job?


Your answer for this question should be oriented to company opportunities and not personal security.


* How long would you like to stay with us?


Respond in a positive manner, letting the interviewer know you would like to work for the organization. Go on to say you would like a permanent position that presents a challenge.


* Your long term goals, what are they?


Again, this answer should be company oriented, state your goals such as they are relevant to the company’s progress.


* How successful have you been so for?


Explain with confidence, you are happy with the way your career has advanced so far and explain how so. While answering the question make yourself appear valuable to the interviewer.
